Marking its third consecutive year, the SUNeVision Startup Programme continues its mission to fuel Hong Kong's innovation landscape. The initiative is dedicated to empowering local startups and young innovators, helping them grow, scale, and succeed. Participants gain access to a broad range of support, including technology enablement, mentorship, marketing opportunities and growth acceleration.

We help startups grow, scale, and unlock the potential of innovation at every stage of development. The new cohort is now accepting applications from high-calibre startups specialising in key technology sectors, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), BioTech, FinTech, GreenTech, HealthTech, Smart City, and other emerging technologies.

1. Who can apply for SUNeVision Startup Programme?

We welcome Hong Kong-registered Startups from all industries that meet our application criteria and have the vision to grow locally and internationally.

2. How can I participate in the programme?

Submit your company profile and required documents (in PowerPoint or Word format) through the Startup Programme, including business registration, company website, LinkedIn profile, business nature, management team, etc.

3. Is there an application fee?

No, the application fee is free of charge.

4. Is there a limit on the number of applications per cohort?

There is no limit on the number of applications.

5. What are the application deadline and result announcement dates?

The application deadline is 19 January 2026 and results will be announced on 5 March 2026.

6. How does the Startup Programme support my Startup?

SUNeVision and its ecosystem partners offer an extensive, well-established business network in Hong Kong. The programme assists startups expand their IT infrastructure at minimal cost, while joining our thriving ecosystem to accelerate business growth across multiple dimensions.

7. What exclusive benefits do winners receive?

Winners are awarded SUNeVision Credits (SeV Credits) at three tiers, which can be redeemed for various service plans offered by SUNeVision and its partners.

8. Are there any restrictions on redeeming benefits?

There are no restrictions on the types or combination of SeV Credit redemptions. Credits can be flexibly used according to winners’ operational needs, with no compulsory renewal or minimum usage requirements.

9. Can awardees terminate SeV Credit benefits after winning?

SeV Credits support infrastructure operations at SUNeVision data centres for six months. If any changes are needed, SUNeVision’s Channel Team will discuss arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

10. Do unused SeV Credits need to be returned or compensated?

No. All awarded SeV Credit usage rights belong entirely to the winners. SUNeVision will not request repayment or compensation from unused credits.

11. How can I explore more business acceleration opportunities?

12. Can non-SUNeVision customers apply?

Yes, all qualified startups are welcome, regardless of existing customers status. The programme aims to accelerate innovation and business growth in Hong Kong startups.

13. Can startups currently participating in other programme apply?

Yes, we welcome startups engaged in other incubator or startup programmes to apply simultaneously.

14. How can I improve my chance of admission?

We encourage attending our startup workshops to better understand evaluation criteria and expand your business portfolio. Most importantly, ensure your application is complete by the deadline: 19 January 2026.
